A while back I put together a video sharing some of my watercolor techniques. There was a lot of positive feedback on that video and I knew wanted to create another process video. My current project provides a perfect opportunity to do just that!

I am super excited to be working on a series of images for a collectors’ edition of a tale from the Arabian Nights called the Fisherman and the Demon. This is a dream project for me. The publishers, Foolscap Press, are master artisans and the book will be printed with letterpress and hand tinted in a limited edition. As the production gets closer I will tell you more about all that, and I promise… there is a lot of fantastic stuff to tell!

I thought that this would be a great opportunity to share some of this work with you. I put together this time-lapse video of the inking of the third of five spreads that will all link together. The video is shot in HD so you can see each pen stroke!
