These final illustrations were made with watercolor, and a little colored pencil on top. It's fun to create really soft blends. I used a large squirrel hair brush and a second brush with clean water to make them. Check out some of my process videos on YouTube if you're interested in the process.

(1/3) This painting was a lot of fun ot make and is quite large for me. It is about 3ft on the long side! Love making that deep space color. For those watercolor nerds out there, it's a combination of Pyanes Grey, Winsor Blue Red Shade, and Opera Rose!

"The Gift of Time" is an extension of that idea. I talk about my experiences and the importance of making time to draw simply for the joy and calm that it brings to me.
