This piece is a blend of digital color and ink. A good process for quicker projects, but I still prefer watercolor. What do you think, is it necessary for me to make digital work or is there a place for hand-crafted watercolors in this digital world?

These final illustrations were made with watercolor, and a little colored pencil on top. It's fun to create really soft blends. I used a large squirrel hair brush and a second brush with clean water to make them. Check out some of my process videos on YouTube if you're interested in the process.
